This month our theme is “Is Grief Your Friend or Your Enemy?” I think for many of us grief feels like both -- it just depends on the moment. Initially when we’ve lost a loved one, grief may feel like an enemy – a nagging intruder you keep pushing away. Over time, it may begin to feel like a friend – an invited visitor bearing gifts. Please know that there is no right or wrong way to grieve and wherever you are on your grief journey is right for you. Thinking that grief might one day be your friend can feel out of the question and that’s okay. These are simply various thoughts – some of which might resonate with you. Take what works and leave the rest. This month we’ll continue this conversation about grief as a friend or enemy.
