As weve been talking about our theme Yield to Your Grief Journey, Ive been encouraging movement toward grief. Please know that sometimes its okay to take a break from grief. In fact, the Dual Process Model of Grief gives you permission to spend some time in a loss orientation and some time in a restoration orientation. In other words, you oscillate between feeling the loss and taking a respite from your grief. Yielding to your grief journey means spending time with the loss and making your life good again.
