We all have our own unique relationships with solitude. When we lose loved ones, solitude might be something we try to avoid, especially if we want to distract ourselves or keep busy. Conversely, solitude may be something we try, by hiding from the outside world and spending a lot of time by ourselves. But, solitude doesnt just mean being by ourselves. Its more about connecting to the deepest part of ourselves, that place where we dont feel alone. On the grief journey, its important to find a balance between spending time in solitude and engaging with others.
