This month our theme is Inner Stillness For me, inner stillness is about contemplation. Its about taking some deep breaths and going to the innermost part of me. Its about letting go of thoughts, sensations and feelings, and resting in presence. For me, inner stillness comes from a surrender form of meditation Ive been practicing for years. And when I bring this inner stillness to grief, it helps me remember what writer and speaker Paula DArcy said in the documentary, Voices of Grief: Honoring the Sacred Journey, When you turn inward and see what really can never be touched, and what never died, and what remains unbroken, then you have the ingredients that will take you. They define the path. This month well be talking about the process of turning inward.
