Eileen Bridget Law Stephenson Moyer of Altoona, was called to the Lord on July 4, 2012. She was born on December 28, 1959 and was the third of seven daughters of Thomas J. and Joyce D. Moyer. She was a proud and loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She lived most of her life in State College. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas J. Moyer, who passed on November 4, 2010. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth T. Law and Christopher J. Law and wife Chara, all of California. She is also survived by her mother, Joyce D. Moyer of Altoona, and by six sisters, Kathleen McGranaghan of Tabernacle, NJ and her husband John, Colleen Cecere of Tyrone and her husband Leonard, Joleen Hindman of DuBois and her husband Shawn, Laureen Palmer of Hilton Head, South Carolina and her husband John, Bernadeen Harlow of Port Matilda and her husband Matthew, and Christeen Kisslak of State College and her husband Jay; 14 nieces and nephews. Eileen retired from Penn State University after 22 years of service. After retirement she volunteered for the American Red Cross. Her proudest service was a three week deployment to Baton Rouge, LA following Hurricane Katrina. She was devoted to our Lord and attended mass regularly. She served as a eucharist minister. Family and Friends will be received at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 6-8 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Westerly Parkway, State College, with Father Matthew Baum officiating. Interment will be immediately following the mass at Pine Hall Cemetery, West College Avenue, State College. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “Disaster Services” of The American Red Cross, 205 E. Beaver Avenue, Suite 203, State College, PA 16801.
