Sharon W. Woods

Sharon W. Woods, 60, of Julian, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at her residence.

Born March 16, 1952, in Indianapolis, IN she was a daughter of the late William Caleb and June Walters Wright. She was the beloved wife of Donald C. Woods whom she married on November 29, 1974, who survives at home.

She was also the beloved mother of Cale Woods, of Pittsburgh and Julie Trabert and her husband, Andrew, of Temple, AZ. Also surviving is a brother, Caleb Wright and his wife, Phen, of Pleasanton, CA, two sisters, Carol Leminger and her husband, Wayne, of Sun City West, AZ, Judi Perkinson and her husband, John, of Fairmount, IN, a nephew, Caleb Wright and a niece, Wren Perkinson.

She was employed for ten years by Mount Nittany Medical Center as a Physical Therapist.

She attended the Port Matilda Baptist Church and was a Cub Scout Leader and Round Table Chairman, achieving the rank of Owl.

She enjoyed horseback riding with her husband Don on their horses, Bugsy and Brandy and spending time with her puppy Buddy.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, family members would appreciate donations in memory of Sharon to go to the American Cancer Society, Centre Unit, 123 South Sparks St., State College, PA 16801 or Susan G. Komen for the Cure at P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-03209..
