W ayne is from the Grove City, Pennsylvania area. Wayne came to State College in 1964, he married Edna Franklin in 1967. He has two children, son Daniel K. Bicehouse and his wife Tracy who reside in Herndon Virginia and his daughter Lori S. Bicehouse who lives in Oakland Maryland. He has 2 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In 1999 he retired from ARL Penn State University, State College, Pennsylvania. Wayne and Edna are enjoying their retirement and staying active in the community. Wayne has filled many roles consisting of an EMT, M.A.S.T, Volunteer for Alpha Ambulance, Instructor in First Aid and CPR, formerly active in State College Boro Government, served as a chairman of the Zoning Hearing Board, Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Commission and Pedestrian Safety Commission and he was a past officer in the Masonic Fraternity and its Allied York Rite Bodies.

Wayne joined Koch Funeral Home as a part-time Funeral Home Assistant in 2006. He is currently a member of the Nittany Amateur Radio Club (NARC) and serves as an Officer on the Board of Trustees in charge of Facilities at Faith United Church of Christ in State College.
